Celebrate Nonprofits Week is a week-long celebration of nonprofit organizations: the deeply important work they do, the essential role they play in our lives, and the dedicated staff that work diligently to carry out their missions.

 

The purpose of Celebrate Nonprofits Week is to increase public awareness of the contributions our nonprofits make to our communities—and to provide an opportunity for those organizations to recognize and celebrate their employees.

In 2020, Mayor of Erie Joseph Schember and Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper proclaimed the fourth week of June as Celebrate Nonprofits Week in the City of Erie and Erie County, respectively.

The fifth annual Celebrate Nonprofits Week will run from Monday, June 24 to Friday, June 28, 2024.

Celebrate Nonprofits Week is an initiative of The Nonprofit Partnership, a membership-based 501(c)3 organization that seeks to advance the nonprofit sector by promoting best practices, fostering connections, and celebrating excellence.
