Celebrate Nonprofits Week is a community-wide recognition of the organizations and people working every day to strengthen our region. It shines a spotlight on the vital role nonprofits play — and the passion, commitment, and care behind their work.

This week is designed to both elevate public awareness and create space for nonprofits to celebrate their teams, share their stories, and connect with the communities they serve.

In 2020, Joseph Schember and Kathy Dahlkemper officially proclaimed the fourth week of June as Celebrate Nonprofits Week in the City of Erie and Erie County.

​

The seventh annual Celebrate Nonprofits Week will take place Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26, 2026.

​

Celebrate Nonprofits Week is led by The Nonprofit Partnership, a membership-based 501(c)(3) dedicated to advancing the nonprofit sector through education, connection, and recognition.
